Sweet Adelines* endows its members with mastery of four-part a cappella harmony and promotes and enhances barbershop music as an art form - one of only four forms of music native to the United States: the others are Dixieland jazz, the cowboy song, and the American spiritual.

Rehearsals are open to woman of ALL AGES and auditions are on-going!

PERFORMANCES*  Each fall the Sound Celebration Chorus holds an annual show which is open to the public. These highly entertaining performances showcase the many talents of the chorus members.

STRIVING FOR EXCELLENCE* Sweet Adelines International strives to maintain a basic standard of performance quality, providing choruses, quartets, directors and individual members with music education and performance improvement programs, materials and coaching. The Sound Celebration Chorus strives to bring to their audience a performance package guaranteed to entertain. To maintain the performance standards that today's audience expects, the Sound Celebration Chorus rehearses weekly. Leaders from within the chorus form a music education and teaching committee helping members to sharpen their vocal production skills. The chorus also makes use of the many programs provided by the regional and international training and coaching staff.
